The SIU Carbondale chapter participates in various activities on campus. Examples include financial support for events, volunteering at blood drives, and maintaining information tables at the annual Holiday Reception and Service and Retirement Ceremony, as well as the flu shot clinics each year.
In addition, our chapter contributes money each year to a Financial Aid fund that keeps students on track for graduation. We established a scholarship fund in the 1970s and have maintained it since then.
