The SIU Annuitants Association (AA) is a chapter of the State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA). Members of the AA are dues-paying members, which are handled by SUAA. Current employees and retirees may become a member to AA. To join, fill out an online application and submit it to the SUAA office in Springfield. If you are a current employee, and would like the dues payroll deducted, please see the "Dues Deduction Information" section below.
SUAA is our voice when it comes to our retirement and benefits! Please consider joining as a larger membership gets a larger voice in Springfield!

Dues Deduction Information
Dues may be deducted from current employees' paychecks. Click here for the Human Resources form.
SIU also participates in a dues deduction option for retirees. Mark the box on the SUAA application to enroll in this option.
Join the AA Listserv
Because prices for paper and postage continue to increase, our chapter is relying more and more on the ability to communicate with its members via e-mail and the Internet.
The Board of Directors encourages members who use the Internet to sign up for our Listserv so that we may reach you when we are unable to contact you through the mail. Messages are posted to the Listserv regarding SUAA notices pertaining to your pension benefits and legislation that can impact your annuity, campus activities of general interest to our organization and its members, and occasional other items of interest. The Listserv is set up to foster communications among the members and provides a two way channel of interaction.

Member Shirts and Vests Available
Maroon vests inscribed with EMERITUS & ANNUITANT VOLUNTEER featuring the Pulliam Clock Tower insignia and Southern Illinois University Carbondale (in white lettering) can now be ordered. Vests come in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large and are $14.
Wear these spiffy vests to all your Emeritus Volunteer activities to reflect your commitment toward the betterment of our University and community through our organizational projects.
Maroon knit golf shirts, with EMERITUS & ANNUITANT ASSOCIATION inscribed in white with the Pulliam Clock Tower are also available. These shirts are perfect to wear to all our spring and summer activities and outings.
